BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Bucyrus Nazarene Church (BNC) has announced the 2026 dates for its annual Easter presentation, the North Central Ohio Passion Play.

The production offers a dramatic retelling of the story of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of the Apostle Peter. The narrative is set during Peter’s imprisonment in the Tullian Keep, where his recollections of the ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus serve as a powerful testimony to his fellow captives.

Church organizers noted that Peter’s retelling of these events has historically served as an inspiration for many to deepen their own spiritual relationships.

The last two performances for the 2026 season are scheduled for:

  • Thursday, April 2
  • Friday, April 3

All presentations begin at 7 p.m. at the church’s main campus.

While the event is a gift to the community, tickets are required for entry to ensure adequate seating. Interested attendees can obtain tickets by calling the church office at 419-562-0256 or by visiting the Welcome Center in person.

For additional information regarding the production, community members may contact Pastor Keith Showalter at 419-562-0256.
