A woman born in Bucyrus and now living in Bellevue was killed this week in a fiery crash at a U.S. Rt. 20 intersection in Bellevue. Thirty-six-year-old Tracy Albright was killed and four Stark County residents were seriously injured.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol the accident occurred late Tuesday evening when the vehicle Albright was driving was stopped for a traffic light and struck from behind by a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Morgan Jevec. Jevec and the three passengers in her vehicle were all flown to a Toledo hospital.
Upon impact Albright’s vehicle caught fire and Jevec’s vehicle continued into the intersection where it was struck by a third vehicle. Jevec’s vehicle also caught fire.
Albright is survived by her three sons and her parents, Wayne and Marie Albright of Bucyrus, and her brother Mike Albright who also lives in Bucyrus.
