The Bucyrus Police Department is just one of the agencies participating in National Night Out on Aug. 2, but there will be plenty of community parties to attend.
The Bucyrus Police Department, in conjunction with Neighborhood Watch, is proud to once again sponsor National Night Out Against Crime events on Tuesday, August 2.
National Night Out is a nationwide effort to promote neighborhood involvement to help stem crime and strengthen partnerships between police and youth, community members and local organizations. The parties are as follows:
- Bucyrus Neighborhood Churchs, 200 block Woodlawn Ave., 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- 500 block S. East St., 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Bucyrus Mobile Home Park, (towards south end) 6 p.m. 8 p.m.
- Home Circle Drive, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- 100 block Williams Street, 6 p.m. 8 p.m.
- Heartland of Bucyrus, 1170 W. Mansfield St., 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Indian Creek Apartments, 1779 Whetstone St., 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Gaius St., rear yard of 124 Gaius, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Hillcrest Dr., (near 1117 Hillcrest), 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- 1100 block S. Sandusky Ave., (near 1121 and Kilbourne Dr.) 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- John St., between Whetstone, Hopley and E. Southern, 1100 block John St. 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- 400 block Lawn Ave., (near 444 Lawn Ave.) 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Schell Ave., near 120 Schell, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- East Rensselaer St., (400 block near radio station) 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- South Spring St. Watch group, 200 block W. Rensselaer St.(near First Presbyterian Church, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Sycamore House, 100 block Wayne Ave., (124 Wayne) 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Corner of Wade & Lynne, (near 1320 Lynne Ave.) 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- SK8 Factory roller skating rink, 233 E. Mansfield St., 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Monnett St. Watch group, 1100 block Monnett St., (near 1103) 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Southland Ave. , (near 1147 Southland) 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Please seek out a party near you for food, fun, friends, and our police officers and firefighters will be around to visit.
