GALION— An accident on Friday morning on Ohio 19 near Biddle Road claimed the life of a Bucyrus man.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, William “Billy” Guthrie II, 34, was killed in the two-vehicle crash when Sarah Barker, 37, of Galion was driving a 2005 Chevy north on Biddle Road and pulled into the intersection, striking the 2021 motorcycle driven by Guthrie, who had been traveling east on Ohio 19.
Guthrie was taken by members of the Galion Fire Department and EMS to Galion Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving there.
Barker was treated at Galion Community Hospital for injuries she sustained in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
