BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)– In a case that concluded after a three-day trial, a Bucyrus man has been found guilty of two felony charges. Johnathon Jones, 29, was acquitted of first-degree felony aggravated burglary but convicted of gross sexual imposition and tampering with evidence, each third-degree felonies.

The jury deliberated for just under an hour before reaching their verdict.

Each of the charges carries a potential sentence of up to 36 months in prison.

Jones was represented by attorney Rocky Ratliff from Marion.

Currently, Jones remains in custody as he awaits sentencing from Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold, with a date yet to be determined.
