BUCYRUS―A Bucyrus man is in the county jail after Bucyrus Police responded to a domestic violence call in the 600 block of Wilber Street on Saturday.

At 12:33 p.m., officers arrived at the residence and found a man complaining of an injury to his groin area. Austin Fox, 30, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County after officers investigated the reported complaint.

Fox was treated and released from Bucyrus Community Hospital and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. He is being held pending a court appearance.

7:39 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the area of Arrowhead Drive. The people were treasure hunting in trash bins.

10:07 a.m.-A resident came to the station to speak with an officer regarding a theft.

11:00 a.m.-Officers mediated a landlord/tenant dispute in the 1000 block of Maple Street.

12:00 p.m.-Officers took a trespass complaint in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. A person was trespassed from a business for shoplifting.

12:28 p.m.-A person came to the station to report fraudulent checks written on their business.

12:37 p.m.-Officers investigated a possible trespasser in the 1200 block of Woodlawn Avenue. The people extinguished a fire in a fire pit.

1:15 p.m.-A minor two-vehicle, non-injury crash in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated and a citation was issued.

1:17 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the 400 block of East Warren Street in arresting a suspect.

1:43 p.m.-A report of a possibly impaired driver on Marion Road was investigated. The motorist was at the BMV with a vehicle to be inspected.

2:18 p.m.-Officers took an assault complaint in the 300 block of East Warren Street.

2:51 p.m.- A theft report was taken in the 700 block of Beverly Drive. A dog was reported stolen. Reportedly, the dog ran from a neighbor and an unknown third party gave the dog to an estranged spouse.

3:00 p.m.- A traffic report was made in the 300 block of West Mansfield Street involving a minor collision on a parking lot.

3:48 p.m.- A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was investigated in the area of East Southern Avenue and South Walnut Street. A traffic citation was issued.

4:13 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 900 block of West Perry Street.

4:22 p.m.- A report of a missing juvenile was taken.  The juvenile was later located and returned home.

4:56 p.m.-Officers investigated a traffic complaint in the area of Marion Road. People were reported operating a vehicle recklessly on the Southern Lights shopping plaza lot. The suspect vehicle was located in the 300 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

5:24 p.m.- A report of a possible theft was taken in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street.

6:03 p.m.-A 911 hang-up was investigated in the 600 block of East Lucas Street. No emergency to report.

6:21 p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the 800 block of South Poplar Street.

6:42 p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the area of Tiffin and West Irving Streets.

6:48 p.m.-A report of possible child abuse was received.

6:54 p.m.-A suspicious vehicle was investigated in the area of Marion Road and Beal Avenue.

10:11 p.m.-A report of suspicious persons was made in the 900 block of Prospect Street. People were reportedly trespassing.

12:23 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a vehicle blocking a driveway and roadway in the 600 block of South Walnut Street.

12:53 a.m.-A disturbance was investigated in the 200 block of East Warren Street. It was a domestic dispute that was mediated.

1:13 a.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth EMS in the 200 block of West Rensselaer Street. A resident was scratched by their cat and required treatment.

1:48 a.m.-Officers investigated an alarm in the 1300 block of East Mansfield Street. Vandals had broken a window.

2:40 a.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the East Mansfield and Hall Street area. A traffic arrest was made and the deputy transported the motorist to the Crawford County Justice Center. The vehicle towed from the scene.

4:33 a.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth EMS in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

5:01 a.m.-Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle report in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. The person was in the WalMart lot with engine trouble.

5:58 a.m.-Officers checked on a security light and made a security check for residents at Ridgewood Sr. Villa on East Beal Avenue.

9:28 a.m.-Officers picked up a suspicious baggie in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.

9:30 a.m.-A report of vandalism by breaking a window was investigated in the 1200 block of East Mansfield Street.

11:39 a.m.-Ethan Cameron, 15, 800 S. Poplar, was reported missing from his home since Thursday.  Ethan is 6’3, 155 lbs. with blonde hair, blue eyes, unknown clothing description. No Foul play is not suspected.

12:35 p.m.-Officers responded to a trespassing complaint and assisted EMS personnel in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street. A person was treated after passing out and had alcohol and marijuana in their possession.

1:28 p.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated. A disorderly patron at a business left without incident.

4:29 p.m.- A report of a person trespassing in the 100 block of Plymouth Street was made at the police department.

5:10 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 100 block of East Rensselaer Street.

5:12 p.m.-Officers spoke to a person at the police department about a civil matter.

6:35 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 200 block of East Mary Street.

8:55 p.m.- Officers checked the 800 block of South Poplar Street for a missing juvenile.

9:19 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated in the 1200 block of Home Circle Drive.

9:50 p.m.- Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in the area of Aumiller Park.

10:15 p.m.- A disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Wilbur Street.

10:20 p.m.-Officer met a complainant in the 700 block of Beverly Drive regarding possession of a dog between estranged partners.

10:41 p.m.-Officers checked the welfare of a person in the 900 block of Whetstone Street.

11:46 p.m.-A juvenile on probation was reported sneaking out of their residence.

12:50 a.m.-A verbal domestic disturbance was investigated in the 100 block of West Mary Street.

2:41 a.m.-Officers assisted a deputy on a traffic stop in the area of Lucas Street and South Sandusky Avenue.

2:53 a.m.-A disturbance in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated. A group was yelling and one half involved walked away.

11:40 a.m.-A report of vandalism by breaking a truck window in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street was investigated.

12:01 p.m.-A report of a dog barking continuously in the 400 block of Dudley Street was investigated and unfounded.

1:16 p.m.-A parking citation was issued in the 400 block of East Charles Street where a car was in a tree lawn and blocking drives.

1:38 p.m.-A report of possible child abuse is being investigated.

2:36 p.m.-Officers investigated a two-car, non-injury accident in the 1300 block of Robinhood Drive.

3:26 p.m.-A traffic stop was made for an equipment violation on West Beal Avenue at Marion Road. The driver and passenger were both arrested for possession of drugs and are at the Crawford County Justice Center. Officers seized a bulk amount of methamphetamine, prescription pills and marijuana.

3:31 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued for a speeding violation in the area of West Southern Avenue and Wyandot Road.

3:48 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued for a speed violation in the area of West Southern Avenue and Wyandot Road.

5:58 p.m.- A report of a suspicious vehicle was made in the 700 block of Wilbur Street.

8:04 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street and officers checked on people sitting in the Walmart lot. No assistance was needed.

9:05 p.m.- A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

10:14 p.m.-Officers assisted deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office corral some loose steer around Producers Livestock. They were all guided back inside the fence.

11:22 p.m.-Officers responded with EMS personnel to an unknown emergency in the 1000 block of Wingert Street. It was a false alarm and everyone was ok.

11:36 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 200 block of North Poplar Street. Linda Hall, 40, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
