BUCYRUS- Ethan C. Seitz, age 31, of Bucyrus, was arrested Friday, by law enforcement officers with the Cleveland Division of the FBI – Canton Resident Agency pursuant to a criminal complaint and arrest warrant stemming from the Capitol violence incident on January 6th. Seitz is charged with:

 

  • 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(1) – Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority;
  • 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(2) – Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority;
  • 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(D) – Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds;

 

Seitz had his initial appearance Friday afternoon before Magistrate Judge Kathleen B. Burke. SEITZ was released on bond and must not travel outside of the Northern District except to attend court in DC. An initial appearance is scheduled via Zoom in District of Columbia for Wednesday, March 24th at 1:00 pm
