BUCYRUS-On Thursday, August 13, 2020 The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office along with Crawford County Probation Department and Metrich investigated a complaint of Drug activity at 130 Dudley St. in the City of Bucyrus.
Charles Erwin Jr., who is on probation in Crawford and Wyandot County for drug convictions was at the residence. Several pills and cash were found inside the house.
Erwin was arrested for probation violation. Officers seized the drugs and cash and additional charges will be presented to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office.
During the investigation, a Sheriff’s cruiser was struck by a female trying to leave the residence. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Erwin is currently being held at the Crawford County Justice Center.
Irwin was arrested and charged after a raid on his Dudley St. residence in February. The raid netted over 50 firearms and various drugs.
