Opening night of Bucyrus Little Theatre’s youth production of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The Musical” is set for Thursday, July 13. According to David Cory, music director and assistant musical director, the show will be a standard Snow White story, but not the way Disney portrays it.
Between the charm of Snow White, heroic acts of Prince Robert, the schemes of the Queen, the enchantment of the Magic Talking Mirror, and the quirkiness of the Seven Dwarfs, Cory believes the show is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
“It’s a fabulous play, the kids have been working very very hard for probably two months now and it all culminates this Thursday with opening performance,” Cory said.
The dates of the show are July 13, 14, 15 at 7:30 p.m. and July 16 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $8 for students. The Bucyrus Little Theatre is located at 130 Songer Avenue.
