BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)–The cast and crew of Bucyrus Little Theatre’s production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr., directed by Cindy Light, welcome audiences to embark on a journey of pure imagination this weekend. The show will run Thursday, July 7, through Sunday, July 10, with two performances (a matinee and an evening show) on Saturday and Sunday.
More than 50 young performers are featured in this year’s summer youth production, with multiple roles being double-cast to feature the talents of even more performers. As of today, four of the six shows are sold-out performances. However, tickets are still available for the 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, and the 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10 performances. Tickets are $15/adults and $10/youth and may be purchased online at BucyrusLittleTheatre.com.
In addition to the theatre’s regular concessions, theatre-goers will be able to purchase a Wonka Bar for $3/a piece. Those who find the five golden tickets in their Wonka bars will receive a full refund for their candy and will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to one of the regular season performances at BLT for the 2025-26 Season, which will include Bat Boy: The Musical, Christmas Belles, Neil Simon’s Rumors, and Mamma Mia!.
The Bucyrus Little Theatre Box Office opens one hour before the show begins, and seating will begin 30 minutes before the curtain opens. For more information, email bucyruslittletheater@gmail.com or call 419.562.0731.
