NEWS RELEASE:
Show choirs from schools in Crawford County and the surrounding area will come together to showcase their talents during the annual Crawford County Show Choir Showcase. Performances will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Bucyrus Elementary School auditorium Friday, April 20.
The event, which serves as a fundraiser for the Bucyrus High School Players show choir, is an opportunity for performers to experience the talents and abilities of their counterparts from neighboring schools. “This is a great opportunity for the show choir groups to come together and learn from one another,” said Bucyrus Director of Choirs Kaitlyn Fourman. “We enjoy hosting this event because it shines a positive light on the great musical programs in Crawford County and the surrounding area.”
Schools confirmed to perform in the showcase April 20 include: Bucyrus High School Players, Bucyrus Middle School Vocal Motion, Wynford Royal Singers and Mohawk Warrior Rhapsody Show Choir.
“I’m appreciate Ms. Fourman’s dedication to continuing this great event for our students and others in the area,” Superintendent Kevin Kimmel said. “Our district is committed to ensuring the visual and performing arts are a strong part of the educational experience for current and future Bucyrus students.”
