BUCYRUS — A fire in the 300 block of West Mansfield Street in Bucyrus now is under investigation of possible arson.
According to Bucyrus Police Chief David Koepke, a woman who was a resident at the multifamily residence is in custody as a person of interest.
Koepke said no formal charges have been filed but he is in communication with the Bucyrus Fire Department’s arson investigation.
In the police report, the structure owned by Indian Valley Rentals was considered a total loss and a neighboring building was damaged as well.
No official cause of the fire has been determined.
No injuries occurred because of the fire.
