Bucyrus Elementary School is proud to announce that Zoey Hoskins, a fifth grader at BES, is the first runner-up in the Masonic Jurisdiction Essay contest for Family Life Week.
In her essay, Zoey focused on how much she appreciates her family’s love and support. Zoey was honored in a ceremony at the Masonic Temple where she received a plaque and a $100 prize that will be used in the classroom.
“Zoey wrote a beautiful essay showcasing the love and admiration that she has for her parents and siblings,” said fifth grade Language Arts teacher Leah Barger. “We are so proud of Zoey and all of our 5th graders who entered the contest.”
Principal Timothy Souder speaks for all of Bucyrus Elementary when he said, “Our school is extremely proud of Zoey’s demonstrated writing talent, learned skills, and initiative in entering her essay.”
