The Bucyrus Athletics Department is continuing a time-honored tradition in the district. Members of the
Football, Boys and Girls Golf, Girls Tennis, Cross Country and Volleyball teams, along with the High School cheerleaders and Bucyrus High School Marching Band, will participate in a pep rally starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Bucyrus Elementary School auditorium August 25.
Along with the pep rally, Bucyrus Elementary School students will receive free admission to the home football game that evening as the Redmen host Galion.
“We are excited to continue the elementary school pep rally,” said Athletics/Activities Director Rick Rawson. “This event is the result of a suggestion by the community from the Athletic Strategic Plan. The plan specifically calls for the ‘development of a calendar of events which honors tradition and increases community support and student involvement for the Redmen athletic program’, and this program is one example of how we are committed to our strategic plan.”
