Media Communications Director Jeff Funigiello was thrilled with his students’ results. “I’m tremendously proud of the effort and results from the competition,” he said. “Our students compete in one of the largest and most competitive districts in the state. As a result, I never know what to expect going in. I tell the students, ‘I don’t care where you place, as long as you give your best.’ Over the past several weeks, many students were staying after school during their free time to practice and study. I know that they gave their very best. And it is exciting that their hard work paid off.”
