
GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) and the Galion-Crestline Area Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) convened once again for the Annual Crawford County Business Forecast & Economic Development Update, colloquially known as the ‘Forecast Breakfast,’ at the St. Joe Activity Center in Galion this morning.
The breakfast, catered by Avita Health System, provided attendees with updates and insights into the current local economic conditions, as well as plans and trends for the coming year.
Distinguished Speakers
The event featured a lineup of distinguished speakers, introduced by Casie Grau Director of the BACC and Beth Anne Jarvis, Interim Director of the GCACC, including David Zak from the Crawford Partnership, Todd Boyer from Ohio Mutual Insurance Group, Lisa Workman from The Community Foundation, Mark Rantala from Galion Port Authority, Audrey Flood from Crawford County OH CEO Program, Allen Hocker from Avita Health, and Jim Spreng from Spreng Capital Management.
Major Announcement
Chamber board member Mike Dostal and Gary Frankhouse made several updates, the most significant being the merging of the BACC and GCACC into a single Chamber for Crawford County. The search for a CEO to lead the newly combined chamber is currently underway.
The unification of the two chambers signifies a new era of collaboration and shared vision for the economic development of Crawford County. This move is expected to streamline operations and provide a unified voice for the business community in the region.
