BUCYRUS—Members of the Bucyrus Altrusa Club recently attended the District Five Conference held in Lima. District Five includes Altrusa clubs in all of Ohio and Michigan.
The Bucyrus Chapter received a membership award for the highest percentage of new members in the district.
They also received the Leola M. Heiss Long-Term Service Project Award for their continued work supporting Christmas At The Garwin House in Bucyrus.
Altrusa Club member Connor Teters was promoted to the Chair of the
Altrusa District Board for Membership and Revitalization.
Altrusa is an international non-profit organization making local communities better through leadership, partnership, and service.
Altrusa undertakes a variety of service, literacy, fundraising, and international projects each year in Bucyrus.
