The temperatures outside may not have reached the frigid depths originally called for in the long-term forecasts for this week, but they are still brutally cold.

The high temperature for today is expected to be 7-degrees with a low tonight of -14 with a wind chill of -45 degrees. All Crawford County school districts have cancelled classes for the day and the county is under a Level 2 Snow Emergency. Up to four inches of new snow is expected to have fallen by late this morning.

Tomorrow’s forecast calls for a high of 2-degrees and a low of 0 with a wind chill of -26. Temperatures will begin to rise on Wednesday. By Friday they are expected to reach the 40s and nearing 50 just one week from today.
