Britt claims alpaca grand champion ribbon

Sunday was the first day of the 2014 Crawford County Fair and first grand champion for Junior Fair Livestock was Courtney Britt’s alpaca. Rachel Cox took the other top spot as reserve grand champion at Sunday afternoon’s show.

Naomi Bell was the other big winner at the alpaca/llama show. She was named both Senior Showmanship and Senior Skill-a-thon winner.

Other showmanship winners were Taylor Garrison-Wise for the intermediate class and Nic Starner in the junior division. Brittany Parcell was the reserve grand champion for senior showmanship. In the intermediate and beginner divisions the reserve grand champion award went to Aaron Hand and Alec Sipes, respectively.

The intermediate and beginner skill-a-thon winners were Keton Pfeifer and Ella Pfeifer.

Sunday’s class winners were Keton Pfeifer, Britt, Cox, Senona Evans and Bell.
