The Galion Electric Division announced today that there will be a brief power outage affecting the southeast portion of the City of Galion on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 at 7 a.m. This power outage will last no more than 30 minutes according to Tony Slone, supervisor of the Galion Electric Division.
“This outage is required to bring the Dawsett substation back online,” said Slone. “These repairs were needed following the recent power outage.”
The area affected is from First Avenue to the railroad tracks and the alley north of Harding Way East to southern end of the Galion Electric Division service area. “If you’re on the east side of the railroad tracks, west of First Avenue and south of Harding Way East, including Harding Way East, you will be impacted by this brief outage,” said Slone.
