The Bucyrus Police Department is investigating a report of a robbery on East Rensselaer Street Tuesday afternoon.

The department received a report of a robbery at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday at 500 E. Rensselaer St. The suspect allegedly stole a $10 bill and roughly $10 in coins.

The suspect was described as a white male approximately 5’10” tall. He was wearing a black coat and a ski mask at the time. The suspect was last seen near the railroad between East Warren Street and East Rensselaer Street.

Officers canvassed the area for the robbery suspect but were unable to locate him.

Though officers were unable to locate the robbery suspect, they later arrested two people on drug-related charges.

Officers arrested 31-year-old Jamie Lester near Wiley Street and East Warrant Street for possession for drug abuse instruments and an active warrant out of Crawford County.

A short time later, 27-year-old Zachary Marshall was arrested near Waterford Glen for drug paraphernalia, possession of drug abuse instruments, probation violation and resisting arrest.

Both men were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center for be held for a court appearance.
