BUCYRUS — Two Bucyrus juveniles were arrested after breaking into a local junkyard and vandalizing property, according to the Bucyrus Police Department.
BPD officers responded to a call at Central Ohio Recycling Service in the 300 block of Lane Street on Friday at 4:13 p.m. in regard to the incident.
According to Bucyrus Police Chief David Koepke, one 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy entered the restricted area of the business and damaged several pieces of property.
“They got a bus started that was in the junkyard and were hitting things with the vehicle,” Koepke said.
The pair was arrested and taken to a juvenile detention facility pending a hearing in Crawford County Juvenile Court.
