A 6-year-old Bucyrus boy came away injured but very fortunate following an accident Tuesday evening involving the boy, his bicycle and a car.
Bucyrus police report that although Brady Rankins was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for injuries he was back home on Wednesday. The police report indicates the boy rode his bicycle into the intersection of Clark and West Charles streets where the bicycle collided with a car driven by 49-year-old David Burns of Bucyrus.
Both the bicycle and the car were damaged, but Burns was not cited as a result of the mishap.
