GALION–Boost Mobile of Galion recently advised its customers of their plans to close the Galion store effective January 30, 2023.
In a letter sent to customers, Boost Mobile said (in part):
“Despite the strong relationships we have built within the community, extremely high utility bills are forcing us to pull out. The average electric bill the last three years at the Portland Way North unit exceeds $900 a month. And although we have investigated the causes and explored different solutions, the rates have not come down. Unfortunately, we have exhausted our options and decided to move on.”
Customers are encouraged to visit the nearest Boost Mobile store at 2164 Walker Lake Road North in Ontario.
