BUCYRUS—Three defendants appeared in person in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday for their first pretrial on murder charges.

Jacqueline Montgomery, Timothy Montgomery, and Cameron Davis, all three of Crestline, appeared before Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold.

All three defendants face identical counts of murder and felonious assault.

According to allegations, the three viciously beat Micheal “Mikey” Benedict after an incident in the Just Jokin’ Bar in Crestline in October. The three were originally charged with felonious assault, and after Benedict succumbed to his injuries, the charges became first-degree murder.
