MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A suspect was arraigned this morning in connection with a shooting that occurred at a Halloween party hosted at an Airbnb, resulting in the deaths of two teenagers and injuries to four others.

Cyrus J. Ellerbe, 22, was arrested by the Mansfield Police Department and charged with murder. The incident took place on October 27th at a residence on Ferndale Avenue, with police responding to 911 calls reporting the shooting. Six teenagers, aged 14 to 19, were shot, and unfortunately, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to neighbors, the house had been used as a short-term rental through Airbnb for several years, and on the night of the incident, it had been rented by an adult for a party.
Police discovered drugs inside the residence and estimated that approximately 50 people, mostly teenagers, were present at the Halloween party.
Ellerbe is being held on a $5 million cash bond.
