BUCYRUS — Bond was continued for a Galion woman after she appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday.
Jetaime Schilling, 36, of Galion was indicted on one count of endangering children, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison.
According to Crawford County Prosecutor Matt Crall, Schilling made bond after an initial appearance. Crall said he did not have photographs of the alleged crime at the time the lower bond was set.
Crall noted that Schilling had appeared for arraignment with counsel and that the State would not ask for a higher bond at this time. Crawford County Court Magistrate Tim Roston continued Schilling’s bond. She appeared at the arraignment with her attorney, Adam Stone.
In other court action, Bree Bruner, 27, currently in custody at the Crawford County Justice Center, was indicted on a charge of violating a protection order, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison. This was Bruner’s third violation of the same protection order resulting in the felony charge. Bond was set at $25,000. Attorney Tani Eyer was appointed to represent Bruner.
Adam Rigdon, 31, of Mansfield was charged with violating the terms and conditions of his community control. In December 2015, Rigdon pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and possession of drugs. He served nine months in jail and was placed on community control.
According to allegations, Rigdon changed addresses without notifying his supervising officer and on December 2 tested positive for morphine and admitted using Percocet. Bond was set at $50,000. Attorney Andy Motter was appointed to represent Rigdon.
David Alspach, 24, of Bucyrus was charged with violating the terms and conditions of his community control. In February 2016 Alspach was sentenced to 59 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to five counts of trafficking in drugs, each a fifth-degree felony and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison. He was granted judicial release in October 2018.
According to charges, Alspach was convicted of falsification in Mansfield, had failed to report for office visits since April 2019, absconded from his supervising officer, tested positive for the use of fentanyl and heroin and associated with a known felon. Bond was set at $100,000. Attorney Grant Garverick was appointed to represent Alspach.
Tyler Painter, 31, of Bucyrus is charged with violating the terms and conditions of his community control. Painter was placed on community control in September 2019 after he pleaded guilty to possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison.
According to allegations, Painter overdosed on December 7 and tested positive for heroin. Bond was set at $75.000 and attorney Brad Starkey was appointed to represent Painter.
Karshawn Battle, 19, of Mansfield is charged with violating the terms and conditions of his community control. Battle was placed on community control in October after pleading guilty to having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison.
Battle is charged with obstructing official business in Mansfield and testing positive for THC, marijuana and amphetamines. Bond was set at $75,000 and a mental health evaluation was ordered. Starkey was also appointed to represent Battle.
Brendan Frenzel, 20, of Marion was charged with violating the terms and conditions of his community control. Frenzel was sentenced to 54 months in prison in March 2019 after he pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs and tampering with evidence. He was granted judicial release into a community-based correctional facility in August.
According to allegations, Frenzel was terminated from the community-based correctional facility after he tested positive for K2. Bond was set at $75,000 and attorney Tom Nicholson was appointed to represent Frenzel.
