On Wednesday morning, administrators at the Crestline Village Hall received a bomb threat. Crestline Police, the Crawford County Special Response Team and the Ashland County bomb squad searched the hall and the surrounding area and no bomb was located.
The Village Hall re-opened and the Crestline Mayor’s Court convened about 1:30 p.m.
Streets and businesses located in the vicinity were temporarily closed to traffic until the scene was cleared.
The incident remains under investigation.
