Boil advisory issued for several areas of Bucyrus

The City of Bucyrus Utility Department has announced that a boil advisory is in effect at several locations. The locations are as follows. From East Southern Avenue from South Walnut Street to Rodgers Street. On South Walnut Street from East Southern Avenue to Wallace Avenue.

The Utility Department explains that a water break has occurred in the above areas and the EPA required the issuing of this advisory. Only the residents living in the affected area are advised to boil their drinking water until further notice. In all other areas of the City, it is safe to drink the water without boiling it.
