CRESTLINE — The Crestline Exempted Village Schools Board of Education voted during its meeting Monday evening to accept the resignation of Superintendent Noreen Mullens effective immediately.
Mullens originally announced in September her intentions were to finish the year and resign effective July 1.
The board then voted to make John E. Miller the interim superintendent, also effective immediately. Miller will remain in the position until the board hires a new superintendent in the coming weeks.
Crestline Exempted Village Schools will be taking applications for the vacant position until March 22.
The board’s next meeting was moved from its original date to April 15 at 7 p.m.
