MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Shealeah La Chelle Staley, a 30-year-old resident of Ashland, OH, has been identified as the individual whose body was found in a wooded area of North Lake Park in Mansfield. The Richland County Coroner’s Chief Investigator, Bob Ball, has notified the next of kin. To aid in the identification process, Mercyhurst University’s forensic anthropology team from Pennsylvania was called to the scene and successfully confirmed the identity using dental records. Staley had been reported missing by her family earlier in the summer. The exact cause of death is currently being determined by Mercyhurst University’s forensic anthropology team.
