The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall. The Board is meeting to discuss the following:
SUBJECT 1: Mr. Leonard Hord, of 901 N. Sandusky Aveue, would like to construct a new garage behind his home. The garage would be located on the same site as the old garage that was behind the house Mr. Hord demolished at 112 Bland Avenue. The garage is 24’x48’ and would be placed twelve feet from the alley and one foot from the north property line; over the old foundation of the old garage. The lot is located in the Urban Neighborhood Residential Zoning District and new garages are required to be four feet from a side lot line. Mr. Hord is asking the Board of Zoning Appeals for an area variance to place the garage as described above.
The ADAMH Board, the neighbor to the north of Mr. Hord, has written a letter supporting his request and giving him permission to be on their property during construction
