Like so many girls her age, little Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination.
Enjoy favorites such as Over The Rainbow, Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead), We’re Off To See The Wizard (Follow The Yellow Brick Road), and The Merry Old Land of Oz as Dorothy comes to appreciate her family and friends more than ever and realizes “there’s no place like home.”
Directed by Cindy Light, with assistance from Janet Cory, this extra season performance will hit the Bucyrus Little Theatre stage June 25, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m. and June 28 at 2:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $12 and student tickets are $8. The box office (419.562.0731) will open Monday, June 15.
