The Bucyrus High School Class of 1969 held its 50th year reunion on Saturday, May 18, at the Loft at Pickwick Place.

Over 90 were in attendance including 56 classmates and five former teachers. In addition to coming from all parts of Ohio, classmates traveled from California, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Iowa, Virginia, Michigan and Spain.

Classmate Al Frazier provided live musical entertainment, there was a trivia contest and a buffet dinner catered by Carle’s Market. The 40 deceased class members were remembered on a video.

The Class of ’69 was the 100th graduating class from Bucyrus High School and was the last class to graduate from the original building on Woodlawn Avenue, which currently houses the elementary students.

Class members in attendance decided to plan for a 55-year reunion in 2024.
