BUCYRUS―The Bucyrus High School Class of 1964 held its 55th reunion on Saturday, August 3, at Pickwick Place. Over 70 people attended, including nearly 50 class members. The evening included opportunities to reminisce over several memorabilia displays.
Linda Laipply Johnson chaired the planning committee which included John Paetznick, Jackie Kuhn Yingling, Diane Barth Pensinger, Doris Keltner Rindfuss, Lee Orewiler, Chuck Tidaback, Vicky Gasuras Sherer, Wanda Williams Sharrock and Kathy Dixon Sauter. Special thanks to Alex Johnson whose technology expertise provided the video and music complete with sing-along lyrics. Class member Dr. Paul Wilson offered not only the invocation but also a time to honor and reflect over the memories of 34 deceased class members whose names and photos were displayed at an “In memoriam” table.
Class members came from as far away as Finland, Arizona and Colorado to share memories and reconnect with old friends.
In addition, many class members met on Friday at Baker’s for another get-together which was arranged by Linda Mackling Macaulay.
