The 38th Annual Best “Wurst” Bike Tour will be taking place on Saturday, August 20 during the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival.
Advance registration is $20 until July 20th, late registration after July 20th is $25, and the Family Ride is $15. Children age 10 and under ride for free. Registration on the day of the race from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. with the Course closing at 3:30 p.m. at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.
This year’s Best “Wurst” Bike Tour features four different routes. The routes are a twelve mile family ride, a 32 mile route, a 65 mile route, and 100 mile route.
The annual Best “Wurst” Bike Ride features a commemorative patch for the first 200 riders registered for the 32, 65, and 100 mile routes, decals for family ride participants, food at pre/post and at rest stops, homemade ice cream from the Antique Farm Machinery Association, showers available after ride at the Bucyrus Area YMCA, and well-marked routes and maps for riders.
The specially planned routes encompass the best and most beautiful of the rural flat to rolling farmland, scenic areas, and historical sites.
After the ride enjoy the festivities of the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival or visit some of the local attractions.
