The Bucyrus Athletics Department is continuing a time-honored tradition in the district. Members of the Baseball, Softball, Boys Tennis and Boys and Girls Varsity Track teams, along with the Bucyrus High School Varsity Cheerleaders, will participate in a pep rally at Bucyrus Elementary School May 13.
“We are very excited to continue the elementary school pep rally,” Athletics/Activities Director Tony Rose said. “This event is the result of a suggestion by the community from the Athletic Strategic Plan. The plan specifically calls for the ‘development of a calendar of events which honors tradition and increases community support and student involvement for the Redmen athletic program’, and this program is one example of how we are committed to our strategic plan.”
