The Bucyrus Elementary School will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair Monday, Nov. 3, through Friday, Nov. 7. This year’s theme is, “Once Upon a Book.” The Book Fair, which will take place in the Media Center, will be open to students from 8:25-10:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m. during the school day. Wednesday’s early release hours are 8:15-10:30 and 12:00-2:00 p.m. The community is invited to attend on Nov. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
“The Book Fair is a great way to connect your children with books they want to read, plus they make great gifts,” Bucyrus Elementary Librarian Diane Kaple said. If you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you visit our online Book Fair at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/bucyruselementary. Our online Fair is available from Oct. 30 to Nov. 15.
Payments can be made using cash, check or credit card. Checks should be made out to the Bucyrus Elementary School PTO. Money raised will go toward purchasing new books for teachers’ classrooms, as well as the school library.
