BUCYRUS — Behavioral Concepts of Ohio is celebrating a new location in Bucyrus.
“When we heard there was a need for mental health and substance use counseling in Bucyrus,” Executive Director Dr. David Guardiola said, “we felt that we could make a positive impact on those individuals in need while becoming part of the community and partnering with local agencies to help combat mental health and substance use issues within the city and the surrounding area.”
Behavioral Concepts of Ohio is a mental health resource with a focus on substance abuse disorders. While other locations within ohio provide round-the-clock therapeutic and rehabilitative intervention, the Bucyrus location specializes in group counseling and classes for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety and substance abuse disorders.
“At Behavioral Concepts we focus on providing quality treatment to those in need,” Clinical Director Christopher Jordan said. “We assist the client in gaining an understanding of how to live life rather than just cope with their current circumstances. Helping a client transition from surviving mental health and/or addiction issues to living life is an amazing process. We are grateful to be a part of the journey for each of our clients.”
Behavioral Concepts of Ohio and the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce invite members of the community to celebrate this new resource during a ribbon cutting and open house on Sept. 1 at 2 p.m.
