NEW WASHINGTON — The Buckeye Central Drama Department soon will be performing “Fiddler on the Roof” on March 8-10.

Show times are Friday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The Saturday show’s time is to be determined pending possible basketball tournament basketball games.

Doors open a half hour before the show and ticket prices are $8 for all seats.

The story line of this show revolves around the main character, Tevye, who is struggling with his Jewish faith, village life and conflicts from the Russian Tzar, and three of his five daughters are not following the Jewish marriage traditions of the time. We see him constantly talking to God. Change in the family, change in his community, change in his faith are all causing his great concerns about following TRADITION!!!
