On Wednesday, Feb. 19, students from the Buckeye Central FFA Chapter traveled to Bellevue High School to compete in the District Job Interview Contest.

The Job Interview Contest is a prestigious contest that is based on the contestants social skills, resume letters and covers, and how they present themselves at the contest. Only members who got first place will move onto the state competition.

Four members of the BC FFA Chapter were sent to the contest. Sam Robertson competed in the senior division and received third place. Paul Heydinger took fourth place in the junior division. Aaron Niedermeier received sixth place in the sophomore competition. Freshman, Alex Fike took eighth place in his competition.

“This is a great contest to prepare us for our futures,” Robertson said. “These are skills that will help us receive high positions in jobs later on after high school.”
