INDIANAPOLIS — The Buckeye Central FFA went to National Convention on Wednesday Oct. 30 through Saturday Nov. 2.

“This trip to National FFA Convention was an exciting experience for our students to see all that the Agriculture Industry and what the FFA has to offer,” Mr. Pope said.

The Bucks toured UNOH, went to Ohio Caverns, and an Old Dominion Concert on the first day.

“My favorite part of the trip was the Ohio Caverns because it was a nice tour and not something you can just see anywhere,” Brynn Pope said.

The Red and Gray then went to the Convention to hear a keynote speaker, checked out Monument Circle and City Market, and went to the World’s Toughest Rodeo on the second day.

“I thought going to the Old Dominion concert was cool because I liked to hear music,” Chis Hiler said.

The Bucks went to a few leadership conferences, then went to Dallara Indycar Factory tour, they also went to see another keynote speaker the third day.

“The trip went very well,” Graham Gissman said. “We all had a lot of fun, but we also learned a lot too.”

The FFA members who received their American degree were Alex Rowlinson, Kendra Stahl, Makayla Aichholz, McKennah Corfman, and Payton Phenicie.

These individuals worked hard throughout their high school career to build up their supervised agricultural experience, participate in FFA activities, and excel in the classroom in order to be recognized with this prestigious award. This was their last time wearing the blue corduroy jackets as they received their American FFA Degrees.
