This week there will be a Pope in the White House and not just any Pope, but Buckeye Central ag teacher and FFA director Tyler Pope.
Pope has been selected to receive the National CTE Educator Innovator Recognition by the National FFA. Pope will be honored during a convening of National Career Technology students and educators at the White House on Tuesday.
The National CTE Educator Innovator Recognition awards and acknowledges excellence and dedication among educators in the field of career and technical education. Criteria for consideration includes classroom innovations and leadership and dedication to involvement with co-curricular opportunities.
Pope has been the agriculture education instructor at Buckeye Central for approximately nine years.
