GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—With the holiday season upon us, the Galion Avita Home Health and Hospice invites the community to join in the festive spirit through their unique Hearts of Christmas Tree Auction.

Dr. Kovolyan, the organization’s Medical Director and a passionate advocate for hospice care, has dedicated her creativity to this special event, aimed at spreading joy and supporting a worthy cause.

For those seeking distinctive holiday decorations or wishing to alleviate the stress of holiday preparations, this auction offers a perfect solution.

The event not only provides beautifully themed trees but also supports Avita Home Health & Hospice, a local nonprofit organization.

All proceeds from the auction will remain in the community to provide essential resources for those in need.

Community members are encouraged to attend in-person viewing sessions to see these unique trees. The available dates for visits are:

– November 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
– November 25 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
– November 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You can see the trees up for bid  at 1220 North Market Street in Galion.

Bidding for the auction will commence on November 21 and will close on December 1 at 4:00 p.m.
To get more details on bidding and to view photos of the auction items, interested individuals can visit Avita Home Health & Hospice’s Facebook page.

Winners can collect their items on December 1 at 4 p.m. or on a date of their choosing, with payment required prior to pick up. Participants are kindly reminded that trees cannot be collected during public events.

To add to the holiday cheer, the Grinch will make a special appearance on December 13 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., welcoming children and pets alike for free photo opportunities and festive fun.

For those unable to attend the event, their presence will be missed, but they can still contribute by completing a sponsorship form for the Christmas Hearts Holiday Event.
