ATTICA, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) -The Attica Independent Fair is set to return Aug. 11 through Aug. 15, bringing five days of livestock competitions, grandstand events, and family entertainment to Seneca County.

This year’s schedule features a new addition: a BMX and motocross show scheduled for Wednesday evening.

According to fair representative Derek Beat, the fair will run Tuesday through Saturday with daily entertainment and traditional junior fair events. Highlights include the annual cheerleading contest on Tuesday, a pig scramble on Thursday, the Bulls & Barrels Rodeo on Friday, and the OSTPA Tractor Pull on Saturday.

Admission is $8 for a daily pass or $22 for a full five-day season pass. On Tuesday, fairgoers can receive free admission until noon by donating a canned good item. Senior citizens are highlighted during Wednesday’s themed programming.

The fair wraps up Saturday with the Junior Fair livestock sale beginning at 10 a.m., featuring both the Back to the Farm and commercial sales.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate using cash or credit card, or online prior to the event at AtticaFair.com.
