ATTICA, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Attica Independent Fair marked the start of its historic 150th anniversary celebration on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, by crowning its 2026 fair royalty. 

Cadi Schwab and Russell Fox were selected as this year’s Queen and King, serving as ambassadors for the milestone event.

Cadi Schwab, a 17-year-old senior at Seneca East High School, was named the 2026 Fair Queen. Schwab is an active member of the Seneca East FFA and the Republic Rowdy Rednecks 4-H Club, where she focuses on showing lambs. She is the daughter of Jodi and Matt Schwab.

Joining her is Fair King Russell Fox, a 17-year-old junior at Calvert Catholic High School. Fox is involved with the Seneca CPAs 4-H, where he shows beef cattle, dairy cattle, and dairy beef. He is the son of Mindy and Jason Fox.

The crowning ceremony served as a centerpiece for the opening day of the 150th-anniversary festivities, highlighting the dedication of local youth to the region’s agricultural heritage.
