The driver of the vehicle that caused a fiery crash in Bellevue in September that killed Bucyrus native Tracy Albright has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. Twenty-four-year-old Morgan Jevec of Massillon was sentenced Wednesday in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

Jevec pleaded guilty to two counts of vehicular assault, aggravated vehicular assault, failure to comply and aggravated vehicular homicide.

Albright, who was 36, died at the scene at a Rt. 20 intersection in Bellevue. Albright’s vehicle was stopped at a traffic light when her vehicle was struck from behind by the one driven by Jevec. Both vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision.

Jevec was also ordered to pay $1.29 million in restitution to the three passengers in his car that were seriously injured.

Albright is survived by her three sons and her parents, Wayne and Marie Albright of Bucyrus, and her brother Mike Albright who also lives in Bucyrus.
