Bucyrus Mayor Jeff Reser has scheduled a press conference on Wednesday to announce the city will receive a grant from the Timken Foundation. The grant is to complete the new downtown Schines Art Park.
Mayor Reser has extended an invitation to all of the community to come out to the job site north of Midwest Furniture Store on the corner of Sandusky Avenue and Warren Street, to be a part of the announcement ceremony at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning.
Bob Hiltbrand, of The Timken Company, will be there to present the grant.
The Schines Art Park will occupy the space of the former Schines Theatre which burned in a fire in the 1990s and was never restored.
