The Crawford Park District’s Annual Arrowhead Day is Feb. 28 from 10 to 2 at Lowe-Volk Park.

Displays of several collectors will be on display. While many of those displays will involve artifacts and other finds from Crawford County, there will be displays of items found other places as well.

New for this year will be a display on loan from the Ohio History Connection. This display will feature everyday items of the Ft. Ancient Culture, such as pottery sherds, bone tools, game pieces, and more. These items will be from the H. R. McPherson Collection, found at the Feurt and Cramer Village sites.

Members of the Johnny Appleseed Chapter of the Archaeological Society of Ohio will also be on hand to display their collections, as well as answer questions about unidentified items.
