It was a busy weekend for the Bucyrus Police Department as it totaled six arrests over three days.
A domestic assault call led to an officer arresting thirty-one-year-old Alfonso M. Villavicencio, Jr. Friday evening. Villavicencio didn’t let the matter end at the domestic violence charge, however; he was also charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer as well as being arrested on a Wyandot County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.
Thirty-six-year-old Nathan I. Rickett was arrested in the 200 block of S. Sandusky Ave. Friday night on a Crawford County warrant. He was also taken to the county jail.
Two people were arrested on Saturday. Officers arrested fifty-year-old Myron Carroll on a warrant out of the Mansfield Police Department. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be picked up by the Mansfield PD. Twenty-seven-year-old Leslee D. Baxter was arrested in the 200 block of E. Mary St. and charged with theft. She was released after being given a summons to appear in court.
Daryl E. Zellner was arrested in the area of Spring St. and Oakwood Ave. Sunday night and cited for OVI. A short time later, twenty-three-year-old Amanda Byrne was arrested at the police department and charged with domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.
The Galion Police Department arrested seven people last week. Those arrested included fifty-nine-year-old Robert L. Blackburn of Bucyrus (disorderly conduct); thirty-seven-year-old Tabitha L. Keen (theft); twenty-nine-year-old Terry D. Smith (theft); thirty-two-year-old Jared E. Love (theft, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia); forty-six-year-old James A. Bennett; twenty-two-year-old Brandon Scott Johnson; and fifty-year-old John Timothy Jackson (public indecency).
